Leave the beach behind for a morning or evening — and discover a side of Spain most visitors never see. Fresh mountain air, stunning views, and Gerard — a local who knows every path.

"A relaxed walk through the hidden mountains near Guadalest — no crowds, just nature, fresh air, and views you will not forget." Walk with Gerard · Local from Guadalest
Most visitors to Benidorm and Altea never make it into the mountains. This walk takes you there — to open trails, terraced hillsides and panoramic viewpoints that feel like a world away from the coast.
Whether you have a full afternoon or just an hour to spare — there is a route that suits your pace, the weather and your group.
We pick you up from Benidorm or Altea and head into the mountains together. The walk follows a quiet unpaved track through pine forest and open mountain terrain — no traffic, no other groups, just nature. We stop at two viewpoints along the way. At the second, we sit down, pour a drink and simply enjoy the moment. On clear evenings the sunset over the mountains is something special.
A shorter, gentler version of the mountain walk — ideal if you prefer a relaxed pace, are visiting on a hot day, or have guests who want something less demanding. We walk to the first viewpoint, enjoy a coffee or cold drink, take in the view and head back. Simple, beautiful and unhurried.
No hidden costs. Everything is included — just bring comfortable shoes and a sense of adventure.
Our walks begin close to Guadalest — one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval villages in Spain. It is well worth combining your walk with a visit to the village itself.
The ruined Moorish fortress perched on the rock above the village. The entrance alone — a tunnel carved through solid stone — makes it worth the visit. The views from the top are extraordinary.
A remarkable collection of impossibly tiny artworks — a camel through the eye of a needle, the Mona Lisa painted on a grain of rice. Genuinely surprising and loved by all ages.
The whitewashed baroque church at the heart of the village. The bell tower on the rock is the defining image of Guadalest and one of the most photographed sights on the Costa Blanca.
The hillsides around Guadalest are covered in centuries-old terraced groves of almond and olive trees. In February they burst into pink and white blossom — one of the most beautiful sights in the region.
A small historic cemetery built into the rockface high above the village. The path to it is an attraction in itself — and the view from up there is nothing short of breathtaking.
A short drive from Guadalest lies one of the most beautiful natural spots on the Costa Blanca — cascading spring waterfalls, crystal-clear pools and lush green canyon paths. A perfect addition to your day.

The mountains are beautiful year round. Spring and autumn are ideal for walking — mild temperatures and stunning colour. In February the almond trees are in blossom. In summer, early morning or evening walks are most comfortable. Sunset walks are available throughout the year.
Several restaurants and terraces with mountain views. Try the local arroz al horno or a slice of almond cake. The small shops sell local honey, olive oil and almond products — perfect to take home.
Small groups, real mountains, no rush. Pick your preferred walk and date — and we will take care of the rest. Available most mornings and evenings throughout the year.
